Since just about everything else has gone online this year, it’s reasonable that the Department of Education would now require that statements and audits be submitted online.

To help with the transition, the Department has posted training for its new Partner Eligibility and Oversight Services Document Center on the Media Files page of the Information for Financial Aid Professionals website.

In a July 17 Electronic Announcement, the Department said that following an August 2 update to the eZ-Audit system, all schools and other organizations will be required to submit financial statements and compliance audits electronically.

According to the Department, the new Document Center increases the efficiency, timelines, and security of the compliance processes between Federal Student Aid (FSA) and its partners.

Anyone with questions about the training or information contained in the training can contact the School Relations Center at CODSupport@ed.gov or 1-800-848-0978.
