If you haven't already started working on your report and application for campus-based aid programs, now is the time to do it.

Although the deadline was extended last year, that doesn't appear to be the case this year. The Department of Education recently reminded schools the deadline is October 1. for the Fiscal Operations Report for 2020-21 and the Application to Participate for 2022-23 (FISAP) for campus-based programs. Along with the FISAP, the required signature must be submitted by that date.

In an August 26 Electronic Announcement, the Department said all schools requesting Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG) and Federal Work-Study (FWS) program funds for the 2022-23 Award Year and/or that had either FSEOG and FWS expenditures or Federal Perkins Loan (Perkins Loan) activity for the 2020-21 Award Year are required to electronically submit a FISAP via the Common Origination and Disbursement (COD) website.

The deadline for electronic submission of the FISAP is 11:59 p.m. Eastern time (ET) on October 1, 2021. Transmissions must be completed prior to midnight. Additionally, the signature page must be printed, signed, and mailed by the October 1 deadline.
