Mapping Your Future: No comparison

No comparison

As I've thought about how I might describe life during the COVID-19 crisis sometime in the future, it's difficult right now to make an analogy.

Probably because it's unlike anything we've experienced, and we don't know how or when it will all end. Because of that, it's no wonder many people are feeling anxious, agitated, or disheartened. Our way of life has changed, plans have been shattered, and we aren't sure what the future holds.

However, even though the situation itself is unsettling, it is comforting to know that we were all in this together. How we feel and what we are going through is a shared experience and a shared understanding. With that in mind, maybe no analogy is needed - at least for right now.
