Weekend Predictions

I know who I will be rooting for this weekend.

I am a fan of an early spring - so yes, I am cheering on the groundhog.

Sure, I understand the need for winter. Winter can be fun - fun, if you enjoy cold weather or snow.

However, winter weather can wreak havoc on schedules - something acknowledged by the Department of Education in a recent Electronic Announcement. The January 28 Electronic Announcement reminds schools that some of the loan servicers may have to close temporarily during hazardous weather conditions.

Hopefully, Phil won’t see his shadow on Sunday. We’ll have an early spring, and we won’t have to worry about any temporary closures due to hazardous weather.

By the way, just in case you were wondering, I think the temperature will be in the 70s in Miami on Sunday.
