Share this budgeting lesson with your students

Budgeting seems pretty simple – write down all your income and expenses.
The skill comes in managing those income and expenses – a process that can be overwhelming for students who don't have a regular income or may not pay all of their own expenses.
That's why Mapping Your Future created a 10-minute budgeting basics video. In the brief video, we discuss why a budget is important and how it can be used for accomplishing life goals. It also addresses how a budget can be created – even if you don't have a steady income or regular expenses.
The new year is still young, so now is a good time for students to establish money management habits that will help them into the future. We encourage you to share the video with your students.
