Welcome to Money Management Counseling!
Brought to you by your school and MGSLP
About 39% of college students leave school with unmanageable debt. The debt load is most often a combination of student loans, credit cards, and various payments for large purchases made on credit. When you add these payments with living expenses such as rent, utilities, and food, many find themselves in financial trouble. The best way to avoid financial trouble is to practice good money management skills.
Money management can be a very complex subject. In this session we will concentrate on some of the basics of good money management. The four areas we'll discuss are: setting goals, starting and using a budget, learning to borrow smart, and learning to spend your money wisely.
