2021-2022 College Financing Plan improved for graduate and professional students

Graduate and professional students could find some additional help in the future as they plan for the costs of an advanced degree.
In a November 12 Electronic Announcement, the Department of Education said it has created an additional form for 2021-22 College Financing Plan to more accurately reflect the needs of graduate and professional school students. In the Announcement, the Department said the Graduate and Professional school form was created by working with the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO), financial aid administrators, and other stakeholders.
In July 2012, the Department released the College Financing Plan (formerly known as the Financial Aid Shopping Sheet) and, according to the Announcement, asked institutions to voluntarily commit to using it to supply financial aid information to students in a way that could be understood and compared easily. Last year, the Department released both a traditional template and a Responsive Preview.
In the Announcement, the Department said each of the components institutions need to complete for the institutional College Financing Plans, including the HTML specifications file, technical guide, and a set of Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ), can be found on the following website: www2.ed.gov/policy/highered/guid/aid-offer/index.html.
