Last call for orders of Federal Student Aid printed materials

By Catherine Mueller

August 09, 2018

If you think you may need any printed materials from the Office of Federal Student Aid (FSA), now is the time to place the order.

In an Electronic Announcement issued on August 6, 2018, The Department of Education reminds everyone in the college access, financial aid, and higher education communities that FSA will no longer print or deliver publications. FSA's current offering of publications and resources will continue to be available electronically, and you are encouraged to:

  • Visit FinancialAidToolkit.ed.gov/resources for tools and resources to use in financial aid awareness outreach to students and parents.
  • Direct students and parents to StudentAid.gov/resources to view electronic versions of publications, fact sheets, online tools, and other resources to prepare and pay for college or career school.

Publications and resources for postsecondary schools will continue to be available on the Information for Financial Aid Professionals (IFAP) website at IFAP.ed.gov, as well as on StudentLoans.gov.

Please note: The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA®) form will continue to be made available in paper form. The Department of Education will provide guidance on StudentAid.gov for how students and parents can request paper copies of the FAFSA PDF after the August 30 distribution shutdown.
